 The surname list is area (County & Country) specific for each surname submitted.  Your submissions are welcome and encouraged (see link at the top of the Surname database page). 
This page is dedicated  specifically to available, proven, FREE online genealogical resources. Your submissions are welcome, and if accepted will be reviewed and updated to the webpage as time permits.

What is it that keeps us coming back again and again to the computer, library, archives, and registration  offices; desperately seeking that one piece we are missing? And then; if lucky enough to find that missing piece; off we go on another quest, as now we must learn all we can about our newly proven ancestor. Who were the siblings? What was the mother's mother's maiden name? So many new questions... So many things to research. Will it ever end?    Genealogy Addicts.com is here to aid in that quest...

Genealogy Addicts.com was created by volunteers for dedicated genealogists of any experience level .  The goal of Genealogy Addicts is to aid others in the quest for their ancestry, and to create a forum in which to exchange information, experience, successes and frustrations.   Aside from the Genealogy Addicts forum, there is a Surname Database which is open to all user submissions.  The data base is a tool to utilize while searching for surname matches and connections to others researching the same ancestry.  As this site grows (time permitting),  additional resources such as "Recommended Free Resources" (currently under construction) will be updated  based on user requests and submissions.
